GlobalWay policy

Terms of Participation

These terms summarize the expectations and boundaries for participating in the GlobalWay Founding Cohort.

Program

The GlobalWay Founding Cohort is a ten-week, founder-led online transition and mentorship program running from September 20 to November 22, 2026. It supports first-year Chinese international students in Canadian business programs from the early adjustment period through preparation for the final stretch of the semester. It is not a traditional course, tutoring service, admissions service, counselling service, placement service, or substitute for university services.

Participation

Students are expected to participate respectfully, protect the privacy of other members, and try not to miss more than two sessions. Reasonable absences are acceptable when communicated in advance.

Outcomes and boundaries

GlobalWay does not guarantee grades, club acceptance, introductions, internships, employment, or any other outcome. It does not provide academic, immigration, legal, medical, or mental-health advice, and it does not include unlimited private access to Steven.

Acceptance and payment

Booking a Navigation Call does not guarantee acceptance and does not require payment. If accepted, a student will receive the applicable participation details, payment instructions, and deadline directly. A seat is confirmed after payment unless Steven makes a written exception.

Independent initiative

GlobalWay is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Queen’s University, Smith School of Business, or participating universities.
